Adaptability is a Superpower
Early springtime here in Colorado always provides the opportunity for surrender. To embrace impermanence and go with the flow.
To me, these transitional times of year are a gift in the realm of living a peaceful and grounded life as the reality is that life is impermanent. Things are constantly changing and evolving.
I say often that adaptability is a superpower…the more adaptable we become the sweeter and more easeful life is.
Early springtime in this area of the world offers the opportunity to really build that muscle of adaptability. To find our center in midst of the fluctuations of weather, of environments, of clothing needs fluctuating by the hour, of the ground turning green only to then be covered with snow, of the flowers popping out after being hidden all winter to then be hidden again in the snow, etc...
It is a lesson in non-attachment and an opportunity to embrace what is in every given moment.
What I believe to be true is that the essential piece of the adaptability puzzle is staying connected to our bodies in midst of the swirls. Of enveloping embodiment as a way of life and committing to the practice and process of embodiment as a part of our daily, moment-by-moment transitions of life.
When remaining embodied becomes the forefront of our living, we build deeper ridges in ourselves of adaptability, of inner connection (and interconnection!), and we cultivate the feelings of surrender, faith, trust, and appreciation in the entire unfolding of life.
Today’s offering is a simple gesture of honoring the transition that we are in collectively towards a new season of life no matter how it is showing up for you.
Perhaps this message is the reminder to stay connected to your body. To bring the practice and process of embodiment to the forefront of your days so as to build that invaluable superpower and muscle of adaptability.
As always, if you are struggling, please know that you are not alone.
I am here holding space, ground, and light for the collective.
Take good care of yourselves and be kind to each other.
