Community as the Balm
I recently had a beloved, longtime client say in one of our virtual women’s circles that “vulnerability is the balm”. I love this so much.
What it comes to for me is around the relentless need for safe, supportive, compassionate, and caring community that humans naturally need to grow and heal themselves. The need for spaces where we can drop into our bodies and hearts and show up in our vulnerable, messy, and beautiful human selves without judgment or shame.
A place to come where we can anchor ourselves in our own truth while simultaneously feeling witnessed and seen for exactly who we are.
I’ve spoken about this many times to one degree or another…With each passing day, month, and year it becomes even more and more glaring as to this need.
My message today is simply that reminder. And, the acknowledgment that we have to create it in order for it to be so.
I believe that we can no longer just live on our own little islands of existence… We must be in connection with each other. We must be in conscious and supportive relationships with each other.
We must be in environments that are supportive of our evolution.
Many of you already know, but this is a potent and passionate mission of mine, birthed from my own journey around isolation and separation in committing to alleviate the suffering of others in any way that I possibly can. To bridge the gap in our humanity one moment and event at a time, in the hopes that someone will walk away feeling more empowered in who they are, more connected to themselves, their bodies and hearts, and healed in being witnessed by other courageous women.
To release shame and to open themselves in safety, with vulnerability and truth.
I would be deeply honored to have anyone who is moved to participate in any of our events, retreats, and/or groups to do so. If there is anything I can do on my end to make this possible for you, please do connect with me. I am committed to making my work accessible to anyone who needs it.
On my website, there are an abundance of offerings in support of community. Please check out the Events/Retreats section as well as the Coaching.
