Finding Balance in the Imbalance

"Self-improvement always makes a positive difference for the whole community".

~Alyssa Ostrander

We might just be living in the most imbalanced time of our lives. Striving to maintain some semblance of balance, resilience, and connection to our inner selves is not easy, yet feels crucial.

As we are already almost a month into 2021, it feels like the perfect opportunity to take inventory of ourselves, our lives, and our relationships. And, perhaps time to take some action steps towards improving how we are moving through these days, weeks, and months, honoring our connection to our truest selves.

Some powerful questions to ask yourselves are:

  • Where are the scales tipped in your own lives? What is out of balance?

  • How can I come into balance in my body? In myself? In my daily routines and rituals? In my self-care? In my needs for connection vs. solitude?

  • How can we, as a society, as a community, tip the scales into some semblance of balance? (This feels elusive in so many ways, yet is important to engage with)

  • What do we need to implement in ourselves to create more balance, ease, resilience, and connection in our lives?

I am a connector. I love bridging conversation in groups…sharing, holding space, hearing, and healing together. I love real dialogue and conversation. I love the experience of guiding others to feel themselves in a new way, sometimes for the very first time in their lives.

I love witnessing others connect with their bodies and hearts in a way that they have never before. I love the raw vulnerability of group work and group process.

I also believe whole-heartedly that striving to live in harmony with our truest selves from a place of unconditional acceptance is pivotal for our growth on the whole. Not an easy or straightforward path, but yet an exploration, and a journey worth taking.
